2012 - Is it actually the end?

“Nanak Naam Chardi Kala, Tere Bhane Sarbat Da Bhala” – May the name of the God be always supreme and pray for the well being of all living beings in his name.

Get set go…so finally the first post after lots n lots of thinking or I would say imagination. This blog is about my imagination and also tips as to how to survive after December 21 2012 when the world ends and YOU are the only one who has survived!!! Freaky it might be, but read on…it might help you in second world, if I may so call it, post December ’12. The hymn written above has been specifically chosen to pray for the well being of all and hope this blog remains an imagination and does not turn into reality. Now let’s start the journey.

It might be weird for some but while traveling in Delhi metro one morning (25 April 2012), it just came to my mind that can the metro pillars withstand the end of the world in 2012? At the time of construction, the engineers boasted that even a 7.5 Richter magnitude of earthquake cant shake it, and Delhi being a landlocked city, Tsunami cant reach here so when everything else is down, will the metro pillars still be there? But will anyone be there to see what is left? Will the world actually “end” in 2012? And the biggest question, what does “END” mean? All people will die? Earth will be destroyed? Only the evil people will see their end? And will going to office daily also end??? Damn, am I too stressed out that instead of looking at that girl elegantly dressed in navy blue trousers and white shirt, with 2 inches high heel standing about 4 feet away from me, I am thinking how possibly my daily office commuting ordeal could end!!! Let me concentrate on the girl, black pony tail, ¾ sleeve white shirt, HP laptop bag, tight fitting trousers, high heels. She must be 5 feet, 3 inches and weigh around 45-50 kgs. Cant help it..God has fitted high speed scanners in our eyes! Why cant I have her in my office? And then I hear “NOIDA SECTOR 15 STATION”, I have to get down, unfortunately the girl continued with her journey in metro. Well this journey had 2 implications in my life – firstly I realized I was too stressed out in my job so I decided to quit and become self employed in the internet marketing industry and secondly, I started to read articles and view videos as to how will the world end in 2012.

Now lets shoot to 7 ½   months hence, it 20th December 2012, 1 day before the D-Day. From that metro journey to this day, I have changed myself and the world around me has also changed but in the opposite direction. The direction will be shown in the next post...keep reading!

  3. That's nice..so lets wait for Dec 2012. Till then keep on posting your thoughts.

I like the lines "God has fitted high speed scanners in our eyes" & he has also assembled one mind in which millions of things keep on running simultaneously.
